A split 42 U is essentially two 21U cabinets that stack securely with cable entry between the two units. This allows the unit to be installed in areas that have been off limits due to space requirements, door opening etc. The Split 42U unit may only function as one secure container since the aperture between the two is open (they cannot be used unstacked). The units are available in front only, or front and rear door models.

Designed to mount standard IT equipment with 19” mounting centres, such as switches and servers.
Can accept up to 5 fan trays, dependant on the cooling requirement, and as standard work on front to rear cooling.
A cable management security system is provided for the secure entry and exit of cables.
The full Templar range is available with a choice of high security locks. Please refer to CPNI guidance for appropriate lock.
Two door entry variants to these rack containers gives unparalleled service access to hardware. It also greatly eases the assembly and cabling of equipment during build- up thanks to greater accessibility.
Accessories can be provided, such as copper earth bars, PDU’s (power distribution units), internal cable management systems, earth wiring kits and perforated shelving.
The basic version of this container is a standard tested product. However, they are available to exact customer specification, alternative U-heights, widths and depths available on request.
Any requests that deviate from the standard design are at the end user’s own risk.
