Government Security Profession

Last Updated 12 March 2021

Government Security Profession logoCPNI, and the Personnel and Physical Security Heads of Specialism, have been working closely with the Government Security Profession (GSP) team to develop the Government Security Profession Career Framework. Part of this framework is providing access to technical expertise - whether it is through the CPNI websites, where a range of advice, guidance and tools sit for you to use in your day-to-day role as security professionals, or access to security training or continuous professional development sessions, which are advertised on the CPNI members only website - the Extranet.

If you are in a security role identified in the GSP you should request access to the CPNI Extranet. Your point of contact for this process should be through your relevant Cluster and the CPNI Government adviser.
