Protect Duty – Public Consultation Now Live

Last Updated 02 March 2021

The Home Office is seeking views from the public, via a public consultation, regarding how HMG might use legislation to enhance the protection of publicly accessible locations (ie places where the public can access, such as stadia, high streets, transport hubs, government buildings etc) across the UK from terrorist attacks.  This is known as The Protect Duty.

The consultation is open until 2 July 2021 and further details are available from: https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/protect-duty.
