Standfast Sliding Security DoorDescription
The Booth "Standfast" sliding access door is designed to provide protection for larger openings where the use of hinged doors is impractical.
The design enables the door to be configured as single or multiple leaf and may be designed for any size
of opening (i.e. from personnel / equipment / vehicle access doors to aircraft hangar doors).
The vertical edges of the door leaves are in 4 mm thick steel profiled to interlock with adjacent leaves (or the door
frame) when in the closed position.
Depending on size the doors may be manually operated (push/pull), hand cranked or electrically power operated. The door leaf incorporates a robust external profiled steel plate, an insulated core and a proprietary internal liner. At lower level (where
physical attack is most likely) the door leaf incorporates a hardwood timber core to provide additional resistance to physical attack.
The door may be fitted internally or externally and if required can incorporate hinged personnel access doors such as the Ashford door or Cambridge.
